I use as a case for my mp3 player and its perfect for it. It not only protects it from scratches due to soft interior but also from some impact. The loop comes in handy too as I just hook it to my belt holder. Would recommend it!" "I carry my iPhone and iPod in this pocket (not together at the same time, the size is perfect to fit one, plus headphones). The padding provides protection against other things that might be banging around inside my bag. If I dont have a bag over my shoulder - such as when Im confined to an airplane seat - I attach the ring to a belt loop to keep my iPhone/iPod nearby while keeping my hands free. Very handy." "I am a regular user of Case Logic items and have bought probably 100 or more different types of cases over the years. This particular pocket is very attractive and fits nicely onto a typical MP3 player--which is how I use my own. The design includes some padding that will protect the player from unplanned jostling about. I believe that for small cases to be used with electronic items Case Logic sets the standard."
