"I was very interested in this product after reading an article about it in the Real Simple magazine. I drive a minivan and have children. When they get in and out of the car they are constantly adding to the clutter. Papers from school, books, backpacks, coats and don't forget food. I'm going to school to finish up a degree and I have tons of books and folders that I need, but some books I don't need everyday. This is a great way to organize the things I need and have them handy instead of them floating around in the van. When I take a trip and need the front seat I simply take the mobile office and move it to the back of the van. Everything is still organized and neat. The only thing that I would change is that I really need one bigger, with more room to store larger items such as large textbooks. Since I will be teaching, this is still something that I would need. I read the comments about loosing small items, and yes sometimes things do go from the front compartment to the back, but that is really not an issue. There are pockets for the smaller items, that are sealed at the ends, for like keys, and business cards. This is a great product and I'm really glad that I made the purchase, the shipping was extremely fast." |

She brings work home daily and this keeps everything in one area and is easily transported from the car to the house so she can work efficiently. It's a great tool to keep her better organized." |

Along with files and paperwork, etc., I also carry everything needed for my comfort for a day in the field ... tissues, wet ones, deoderant (Hawaii's hot), chap stick, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc. You get the point. I must respond to the previous reviews on this product and the complaints about small objects falling to the back due to the fact that the pockets are not connected at the bottem. I agree with this for the 3 front pockets, but for the rest of them I would say it's preferable to have them disconnected, which allows for more flexibility ... they can expand when needed. And as for the 3 front pockets, it's easily rectified by plopping in either cardboard, or in my case, rattan or straw boxes in which to keep the smaller items. I also love the handles making it easy to transport from the house to the car and back. I have been searching for this design for most of my life. My front seat is tidy now and I'm loving it. "The only thing that keeps this case from being completely worthless is that it holds my drink cup firmly. I, too, had to make cardboard inserts and use tape to seal one compartment from another to keep small things (like a cellphone charger) from going anywhere in the bag. It makes finding things a fishing expedition -- they are never where you put them. I thought it would be great to keep my street finder book, but it also migrated to the bottom of the bag and now has a 90-degree bend in it." |
