"I think this product is quite useful. The material is sturdy, and seems to be able to withstand a lot of shock (if you drop the harddrive, or bump it against something). I'm not too sure how much I like the foldover top, but it's better than some designs (I guess....). I bought it for a Western Digital Passport 320GB. It fits in, with plenty of room to spare. Some may say a bit too much room, but... there's space for other things in there as well, which is good for travelling! Don't want those random things bumping around your backpack or luggage, right?"

"I was looking for a case for my Korg Kaossilator, which is a portable musical instrument measuring 4-1/8" wide, 4-3/4" long (plus a couple of RCA jacks which briefly extends the length to 5"), and 3/4" thick (plus one knob which raises the thickness to 1"). This is an expensive piece of electronics, so I want to protect it. Fortunately, I stumbled on this case in my internet search, and found that a local store had it in stock. The width of my new toy is 1/8" over the specification, but the thickness is generally 1/4" less, so I figured that I was good to go. This case seems like good protections, and should prolong the life of my instrument. The price was also very reasonable. Now for the bad. The specifications for this case show up to 5.7" x 4" x 1". Once you get close to those numbers, it will become quite a pain in the rear to get your gear in/out of this case. The top flap is stitched all the way around on three sides (no velcro closure here), so if your device is the full 5.7" tall, you will have to stretch the flap over the top to fold it back so you can get your stuff in or out. My device is at the upper end of the allowable girth, and I had to stretch the case to get the device into it. The bottom line is that if your device is under the maximum allowable size by an appreciable margin, this is a very fine case. However, as the size of the device grows, this case will become more difficult to use."
