Date Posted: August 12, 2007 Reviewed By: Suzy from Michigan 38 of 50 people found the following review helpful. "This holster is very well made and exceeded my expectations. My Nikon D40 with the 18-55mm kit lens attached just fits in it (the fit is a little tight top to bottom). The holster is weighted on the bottom to keep it upright. It opens away from you to provide easy access if you wear the holster on a belt. The outer front pocket and the inner pocket provide storage for memory cards and perhaps a filter or two. The zipper pulls are a soft material which has a nice feel. Like anything else, if you take care of the holster, it will provide years of service. And the price is right, too!" |

Date Posted: September 25, 2006 Reviewed By: David M from La Crosse, WI 33 of 47 people found the following review helpful. "This case works out well for me. I purchaced a "advanced" type camera (long lens small body) This type of camera is a smaller than most SLR's. Fits perfectly with the lens sideway's in the case and that makes it easy to grab the cameras "handle" and enough room for the neckstrap. I don't like ump-teen compartments, flaps pouches ect. Two nice quality zipper pulls open the top for fast access, the smaller front compartment holds 4-AA batts. Very basic not bulky, nicely padded. I dont see myself useing the small "bungie cords" that adorn the top and bottom, but hey they look cool. It's all I need and want." |

Date Posted: April 4, 2007 Reviewed By: Anonymous Reviewer 25 of 47 people found the following review helpful. "I recently purchased a new Nikon D40 SLR camera and thought the SLRC-1 case was the one for me. Well, I was wearing the case on my belt loop and the case slipped off and fell to the ground, breaking the lens off my new camera. Apparently "what's inside does NOT survive." I wouldn't recommend this case to anyone." |

"I bought the case for a basket being auctioned for a fundraiser. I myself will not be using the product, but have inspected it very thoroughly and think it is a great value, perfect for using your camera on the go or with children, and it looks very durable. I was very pleased with the quick shipping and the great price. I thought the bag itself was a great concept b/c I love taking my camera along, but always need my hands free, so the holster is a great idea." |
