I have an older case logic and this had little in common: my old one, which is why I bought another case logic, had a thick and squishy fabric cover and a binder strap decent for clutching. The new one was thin with a cloth covered, hard presumedly plastic case. The binding was curved - therefore not as strong and more susceptible to damage by heavy weight (think packing, moving, storing) than my old case/binder which had a normal, edged binding. It was disappointing but everywhere else I looked at seemed comparable in questionable quality which was also disappointing. I thankfully won't need to buy another case for a few years at which point, unless case logic reverts their quality standards, I will look towards another company who hopefully has better product standards.
